Tuesday Morning Isaias Recovery Update: Water, Power, Supplies and Closures

Updated Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 5:15 a.m. CDT

ECUA’s boil water notice remains in effect, Pensacola debris collection begins today, and Escambia and Santa Rosa schools remain closed. Santa Rosa County’s curfew has been lifted.

This update uses the latest official notices available early Tuesday, including Monday evening releases. Scheduled openings remain subject to recovery conditions.

Water: Continue Boiling Until Official Clearance

All ECUA water customers remain under the systemwide precautionary boil water notice.

Bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least one minute, then cool it before drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or preparing food. Bottled water is an alternative.

Officials previously anticipated mainland clearance today and Pensacola Beach clearance Wednesday. No lifting notice was verified for this update. Continue precautions until ECUA officially announces clearance.

ECUA business offices reopen today. Customer service: 850-476-0480.

Power Restoration Continues

Pensacola’s 8 p.m. Monday release reported 44,200 FPL customers without power in Escambia County. That is a release-time count, not a live Tuesday figure.

Severe damage and limited access may extend restoration for some properties. Check your utility’s current information.
